A method and an apparatus for storing a calling record in a communication terminal are provided to store the calling record which is detectable previously in a memory when receiving a call, thereby storing a partial calling record when abnormally finishing the calling mode. A process for checking whether a call is received is performed(S203). When a call is received, the call reception record is detected and stored in a memory member(S205). When a call is received, a process for discriminating whether a proper amount of power is supplied to a control member of a communication terminal is performed(S207). When the proper amount of power is supplied to a control member of a communication terminal, a process for discriminating whether a call setting command key according to the call reception is inputted is performed(S209). When a call setting command key is inputted, the call is set and a telephone calling mode is executed(S211). When the telephone calling mode is normally finished, the telephone calling time is calculated and stored in the memory member(S215).
