PURPOSE:To notify of a worship time and direction of Mecca, by a method wherein a compass, marked with numbers, and a contrast table, indicating city names, city numbers, and numbers in the compass, are attached to a watch notifying of a worship time of Islam. CONSTITUTION:If a city is assigned, information on a worship time of Islam in the city is read from an ROM, and an alarm is sounded at a worship time 5 times a day. A city is numerically assigned based on a list indicating symmetrically city names (a), city numbers b, and numbers c showing the direction of Mecca which are indicated on the back of a watch. The numbers c, indicating the direction of Mecca, are marked on an outer periphery of a compass 7 placed on a watch surface. If a magnetic needle is set to a due north and the number c corresponding to the corresponding city is found, the direction so found indicates the direction of Mecca. |
