A flushing transverse plate is mounted across the bottom part of a trailing retaining frame, with a flushing aperture for flow increase. This allows removal of sewer, waste water culvert or tank deposits. The plate (4) contains at least one flushing aperture with a flap (8) for varying the width of the passage. The flap is linked with floats (5), via a system of guide-rods (10-12), so that a rise in level in the sewer (3) leads to an increase in the size of the aperture. The plate may be able to swing upwards on the frame (1), through approx. 90 deg.
|
