<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality steel with good energy efficiency by using a melting furnace of cupola type, and providing receiving processes respectively between a melting and recarburizing process and a refining process and between the refining process and a casting processes. CONSTITUTION:In a high-quality steel producing process using steel scraps, reduced iron, etc. as raw materials, melting and recarburizing are accomplished by means of a combustion type melting furnace such as cupola. Thence, in the case of providing an oxidation refining process and a casting process in succession to the melting and recarburizing process and integrating these processes to a continuous process, the 1st receiving process and the 2nd receiving process are provided respectively between said melting and recarburizing process and the refining process as well as between the refining process and the continuous casting process. These processes stabilize respectively the components, temps. and flow rates of the molten metal. It is preferable to set the stagnation time in the 1st receiving process at 0.3-2hr, that in the refining process at 0.1-0.7hr and that in the 2nd receiving process at 0.5-3hr and to set the stagnation time of the entire process at within 5hr.</p> |
