Method of killing the foliage of peas, broad beans, spring rape and weeds by spraying with a phosphoric acid agent approximately 1-2 weeks before harvesting, characterised in that the plantation which is to be harvested is sprayed with approximately 400 l/ha of a 15- 20 percent solution of orthophosphoric acid containing around 0.25 percent surface tension reducing wetting agent.
