PURPOSE:To provide corrosion resistance to the metal surface of a body to be treated by sticking Zn alloy powder of a prescribed particle size to the metal surface and pressure-welding the powder to form a Zn alloy film having a uniform structure. CONSTITUTION:Zn alloy powder of <=40mum particle size is stuck to the metal surface of a body to be treated. The powder is then pressure-welded to form a Zn alloy film on the metal surface. A uniform film structure is obtd. to improve the adhesion of the film and corrosion resistance is provided to the metal surface.
