PURPOSE:To enable electric-field eliminating ionization to be carried out continuously by making a sample to adhere to a tungsten wire shifting circularly, solidifying the sample, and feeding the sample located in the atmosphere into an ionization chamber through a differential pumping means so as to make the sample to be heated. CONSTITUTION:A tungsten wire 5 having pin-like beards is circularly shifted from a pulley 6 placed in the atmosphere to a pulley 7 placed in an ionization chamber 1. Sample liquid sent from a liquid chromatograph 11 is made to adhere to the wire 5 by means of a piping 12, and is heated with a heater 13 to be solidified. Sample contents are sent into the ionization chamber 1 with constant vacuum degree, in order, by means of a differential pumping mean 8 consisting of partition walls 9a-9c and exhaust pipes 10a and 10b. They are heated with a laser light 14 or the like, and are ionized by applying strong electric fields by means of power sources 16 and 17. By the means mentioned above, electric- field eliminating ionization can be carried out continuously. |
