PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized, inexpensive device which has high monitoring information density by displaying a real-time waveform on a raster type display means by a luminance signal obtained by comparing a vertical scanning signal and an analog signal read out through a storage means. CONSTITUTION:The real-time waveform of an organism signal is processed by A/D conversion 1 and the resulting waveform is stored in a storage device 3. This signal is read out synchronizing with the screen scanning time of a horizontal scanning signal used for a raster scanning system and processed by D/A conversion 6 to obtain an analog signal. This signal and a saw-tooth vertical scanning signal used for the raster scanning system are compared mutually by a window comparator 8 to obtain a luminance signal, with which real-time waveform display is performed on a raster scanning type display means 10. For example, data is written in the storage device 3 within the vertical blanking period of the display means 10.
