发明名称 OPTICAL AXIS ALIGNING METHOD OF BAR-LIKE LENS BODY AND OPTICAL FIBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To align both optical axes exactly and econimically, by condensing a laser beam by a bar-like lens and detecting a maximum value of the quantity of incident light to an optical fiber, in an optical axis aligning method of the bar-like lens body and the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:In case when a light source such as an He-Ne laser 13, etc. has been used, light beams which have been made parallel beams by an autocollimator 14 and have almost same diameter as that of a bar-like lens by a diaphragm 16 are made incident to the bar-like lens 11. When length of the bar-like lens is set to odd times of 1/4 of a snake motion pitch of light beams traveling in the snake motion, the light beams are condensed to the projection end. The photodetecting quantity of a fiber 12 opposed to the projection end is measured by a photodetector 17, and it is driven by a control device 18 in the (x) and (y) directions so that the photodetecting quantity becomes maximum.
