Storing and exchanging unit for barrels 2, e.g. beer barrels 2, intended for being arranged in connection with a filling machine 3 in a storage compartment for barrels 2. The unit is characterised in that a vertical axle 6 is present, being inserted at its lower end 7 into a foot 8, a base 8 or similar, intended for carrying the unit, where two equal horizontal loading platforms, an upper 9 and a lower 10, are fastened to the axle 6, fixed in axial direction and rotatable in each their horizontal plane independently of each other. It is further characterising that each loading platform 9, 10 comprises several pairs, preferably three or four pairs, of inter- parallel carrying arms 11 or several, preferably three or four, carrying planes 12, where said pairs or said carrying planes, respectively, extend outwards from the axle 6 and are symmetrically arranged around same, and also that each pair or carrying plane is intended for carrying one barrel 2. <IMAGE> |
