PURPOSE:To obtain a substrate suitable for making continuously and easily a lug to which a collector metal piece can be welded by providing a high density part folded double or more times and pressed at the edge of a sintered metal fiber substrate. CONSTITUTION:Fiber 20-50mum in diameter, 5-100mm. in length, comprising either one of iron, nickel, or stainess steel is molded into the shape of felt having a porosity of 80-97%. At least one edge 5 of a molded body 1 is folded double or trebly and pressed to form a high density part having a porosity of 10-30%. |
