PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency, by taking correlativity of two consecutive signals of delta modulation and controlling the sampling interval with the output of correlativity. CONSTITUTION:An analog signal at a terminal 1 is sampled at a sampling circuit 2 and compared with the output of an integrating circuit at a comparison circuit 3 to be delta modulation signal.A delta modulation signal is applied to an integrator 5 and a shift register 6 and delayed for one sampling interval. The correlation between the output of the shift register 6 and the comparison circuit 3 is taken at a correlator 7, the output of correlation is applied to a sampling interval control circuit 8, allowing to make longer the sampling interval with correlation and make shorter it without correlation. |
