<p>In a supporting element (8) for neck mould holder parts (55; 56) which are movable relative to one another and each hold a neck mould part (4; 5) of a divided neck mould of at least one neck ring (2; 3) of a machine for the production of hollow articles (81) from glass or the like, each neck ring (2; 3) has an undivided guide ring (6) which is held by the neck mould and extends from the neck mould with an outer section (70). A centring device (67) is arranged on the supporting element (8) and interacts with the outer section (70) of each guide ring (6) in order to fix the longitudinal axis of each guide ring (6) relative to the supporting element (8).
