摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the change of the locking state of a quartz bar due to a shock from the external, by providing projections, which can be deformed by a sealing can, on an insulating elastic member supporting the quartz bar to limit the movement of a quartz supporting member. CONSTITUTION:The main face of a quartz bar 1 is arranged in parallel with a flat airtight terminal 3, and an annular insulating elastic member 2 supporting the quartz bar which holds the outside circumference of the quartz bar is pressed into pins 4 and 4' projecting on the upper face of the terminal 3. A sealing can 9 is stuck to the terminal 3 to cover the member 2, thereby constituting a small-sized thickness slip quartz oscillator. The member 2 is provided with projecting parts 23 and 23', and they are crushed between the can 9 and the terminal 3 when the can 9 is stuck. Thus, the member 2 is fixed firmly in the oscillator 1; and when a shock is applied to the oscillator 1 from the axial direction of the member 2, the member 2 is not moved, and the locking state of the quartz bar 1 is not changed, thereby obtaining a very stable state.
