摘要 <p>The indicator is used for displaying the course of a vehicle. It contains one or more permanent magnets in a rotatably mounted magnet system extending over 180 degrees, a short circuit, and two pairs of coils producing an electromagnetic field in the same or opposite sense as the permanent field. The arrangement is provided with a very high degree of linearity of its transfer characteristic at low cost. The permanent magnet or magnets (6,7,8,9) is or are arranged so that the effective induction per segment differs for imaginary permanent magnets distributed in a number of equal peripheral segments. The radial distribution of the effective induction per segment over the permanent magnets corresp. to the control function. The permanent magnets may be of constant thickness or their shape may vary peripherally with the control function.</p>
