PURPOSE:To manufacture sheet material of excellent deep drawing propertym ridging and corrosion resistance in a short annealing time by annealing ferrite system stainless steel sheet continuously at the specified temperature after hot-rolling, thereafter cold-rolling it in the manufacture of said stainless steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:The sheet material is manufactured by hot-rolling the ferrite system stainless steel slab which contains C<=0.10%, Cr; 10-15% Ni<=0.6%, N<=0.025% or further Mo; 0.1-2.0%. After the sheet material is continuously annealed within 20min at a temperature between Ac1 point of stainless steel and Ac1-100 deg.C, it is colled by water-cooling, forced air cooling etc., then cold-rolled and the ferrite system stainless steel sheet of intended thickness is manufactured. The ferrite system stainless sheet of excellent properties can be manufactured at low cost without performing the conventional long time, batch-wise annealing. |
