PURPOSE:To realize an input device of characters which is easy to handle with the real time character recognizing system, by supplying only the radical through an input part. CONSTITUTION:Only the radical is supplied through an input part 1 of a real time recognizer for handwritten characters. A display part 2 displays the character group including the supplied radical, and a character designating part 3 selects and designating part 3 selects and designates the displayed character. Thus the characters are supplied through these parts 2 and 3. Accordingly both the recognition dictionary and the recognition logic of the part 1 can be much facilitated. Furthermore the radical can be supplied just by writing the ordinary characters and by writing a simple number of strokes in the Chinese character, i.e., a radical. Thus the handling and operation can be facilitated for the users. |
