Liq. is defoamed by centrifugation under vacuum in a rotating vessel. The liq. is charged into the centre of the vessel so that the liq. may creep towards the outer margin in a spiral manner. Process is used for foaming highly viscous liq. Increased defoaming ability e.g. 30 times conventional . Apparatus used need not be located above the ground.
