<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the variance in registration even for a soft paper and to improve skew compensation ability by providing an elastic body pressing the paper plunging into a nip to the nip direction. CONSTITUTION:Paper chutes 3, 4, 5, 6 constitute an inlet part of a registration roll 1 and a passage between the roll 1 and a photosensitive drum 7. Guide chutes 12, 13 are provided in such a way that the passage formed by these curve with respect to the above-mentioned chutes 5, 6. An elastic body 10 is so connected to the leading end of the chute 13 located on the outer side thereof as to deform elastically in the nip direction of the roll 1 and a registration pinch roll 2. Thereby, the variance in registration is small even for the soft paper as well and the skew compensation ability is improved.</p> |
