The reactive anode is provided with two contact parts (6, 4) which are accessible from outside, traverse the threaded seal, are isolated from each other and extend into a cavity having plane faces and containing the anode rod or are at least in spatial connection with it. The anode allows with the extremity accessible from outside the connection of an optical or acoustic signalling circuit. The extremity in spatial connection with the cavity of the anode rod acts as an electric switch as soon as the anode rod (10) is consumed. The water of the container enters the cavity, wets or envelopes the contacts (4, 6), thus closing the circuit.
