PURPOSE:To improve a charging porperty of a toner, by treating a part contacting with a toner of a member for providing a friction charge to an insulating toner, with a thermoplastic resin solution, and executing a heat treatment at a glass transition point or above, of thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:At least a part contacting with a toner 11 of a member for providing a friction charge to the insulating toner 11, for instance, a nonmagnetic cylinder 4b is treated with a thermoplastic resin solution, and a resin layer is provided on the surface. As for this resin, a stylene compound polymer, for instance, a monomer of stylene and its substitute substance, a stylene-p-chlorstylene copolymer, etc. an acryl compound polymer, polycarbonate, polyamide, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate, etc. are used. Also, a heat treatment is executed for 1min-5hr at a temperature by >=5-400 deg.C, especially 10-250 deg.C higher than a glass transition point of thermoplastic resin. |
