PURPOSE:To obtain a clear picture with a limited recording energy by irradiating a high density energy light on a heat-sensitive recording material in which an exposure section is made insoluble through a support body. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophobic thermoplastic copolymer particle (e.g. ionomer resin) and a light absorbing material (e.g. carbon black) for converting absorbed light into heat are mixed into a water solution containig 0-80% of a hydrophilic binding agent (e.g. PVA with a saponification rate of 85-90%) is such a manner that the mixing ratio by weight exceeds 1:1 in terms of the bonding agent and the mixture is evenly dispersed with a ball mill, an ultrasonic dispersion machine and the like to make a dispersion liquid. The dispersion liquid is applied on a support body at a thickness of 1-50mu and dried at 30-50 deg.C to obtain a thermosensitive recording material. Then, a high density energy (e.g. Ar laser beam) with an intensity exceeding 100w/cm<2> is irradiated on the recording material through the support body and a exposure section thereof is made insoluble. Then, the product is immersed into water to remove an unexposed portion. |
