<p>The halves (A,B) are made from stainless steel and each has an annular portion (11) folded towards the centre to join the annular portion of the other. A circular aluminium flange (C) fits into one and has holes to take nuts and bolts fastening it to a countercheck ring (15) associated with the other, to lock (A,B) together. A T-shaped weatherproof seal is inserted between them, the latter can be of varying sizes to suit particular types of tyre. The rim is fixed to the vehicle via bolt holes in a section (C).</p> |
