PURPOSE:To increase stiffness of a steering wheel by making its grip and spokes from plastics having a high modulus of bending elasticity with core metal buried in at least part of them. CONSTITUTION:Cores 2a, 3a of a grip 2 and spokes 3 are made of plastics having a high modulus of bending elasticity, namely not less than 30,000kg/cm<2>, or preferably 70,000kg/cm<2> or more while their converings 2b, 3b are made of usually available plastics such as P, P. Identifications 4 and 5 are for boss part and horn pad, respectively. Coremetals 6a, 6b with smaller diameters than the cores 2a, 3a are buried in the whole cores 2a, 3a. |
