PURPOSE:To facilitate easy reproduction while skipping over a certain number of tracks, by opening a tracking control loop with the pulse of a certain period in the fast forwarding and fast rewinding times. CONSTITUTION:The tracking signal extracted out of a photodetector 14 is supplied to a differential amplifier 21 and then drives a coil 18 via a control circuit 22 which is controlled by the output of a pulse generator 23 that produces a pulse of a certain period. When no pulse is supplied to the circuit 22, tracking action is carried out. Then this tracking action is discontinued if the pulse is supplied to the circuit 22. Thus a tracing track moves by the shift of the entire head. |
