<p>PURPOSE:To enable a user to know the result of a job by voice through a telephone set, by providing a computer, having incorporated a voice response device, with the function of connecting with a telephone circuit. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 6 handles an input job according to a program to perform inputting to and outputting from a data file 10 and outputting to a hard copying device 7. Simultaneously, the host computer 6 examines a job control table to know whether the telephone answering of the processing result is requested or not. When a user's request is registered, a stored user's telephone number and the processing result are sent to a storage device 3 simultaneously. An audio response device 4 sends the telephone number stored in the storage device 3, to a telephone circuit to call the user and then converts the processing result into a voice, which is informed to the user.</p> |
