COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING GATEWAY REGISTRATION SERVER, SERVER, GATEWAY, COMMUNICATION METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way service through a built-up system using a gateway for communication between a terminal on an IP network and a terminal in other communication network, in particular, between a mobile phone terminal and a PC terminal on the IP network. SOLUTION: The system comprises: a gateway registration server for accepting a connection request from a terminal and registering the terminal information to a gateway; the gateway for receiving an access from a terminal on the IP network and transmitting the access to a terminal on a communication network; and the terminal on the IP network and the terminal on the communication network having a function of making an access request to the gateway registration server. The gateway transmits a call from the terminal on the IP network to the terminal on the communication network even in the case of a transmission request from either of the terminal on the IP network and the terminal of the other communication network. Then the gateway makes unidirectional transmission from the IP network to the communication network so as to avoid a problem of a designation method of the terminals from the communication network to the IP network.
