The valve spool bore has a pair of air supply chambers and an exhaust chamber formed in the wall of the valve spool bore. A first cylindrical chamber is formed in the wall in an intermediate position between the exhaust chamber and one of the air supply chambers. A second cylinder chamber is formed in an intermediate position in the wall between ab exhaust chamber and the other air supply chamber. The valve spool has a pressurised air flow chamber connected to the air supply chambers to provide an air supply flow path through the valve spool. The valve spool is adapted to be moved to a first position to connect one of the air supply chambers to the first cylinder chamber and the exhaust chamber to the second cylinder chamber, and to a second position to connect the other air supply chamber to the second cylinder chamber and the exhaust chamber to the first cylinder chamber.
