PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrahigh frequency electronic circuit of small size with low cost, by connecting an RF input an output terminal of a package so that the result can constitute a part of a coaxial waveguide converting circuit to a waveguide circuit. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor 42 and internal matching circuits 41, 43 included in a semiconductor circuit 2 are sealed in airtight at external shells 25, 26. Input/ output terminals 21, 24 of an RF signal connected to the matching circuits 41, 42 are installed at a position of about 1/4 wavelength from end surfaces 11, 31 of a waveguide. The shape of the terminals 21, 24 is formed with the technology of coaxial waveguide conversion circuits used conventionally, and the semiconductor circuit 2 and the waveguide circuits 1, 3 are connected. With this constitution, a functional circuit not subjected to adverse effect of stray capacitance due to package can be realized, and the connection can be made easily to the waveguide circuit without losing the function of semiconductor elements, an electronic circuit with small size and low cost can be obtained and replacement and repair are also done easily. |
