PURPOSE:To obtain a clear color image with no reduction in sensitivity by adding an internal latent image type silver halide emulsion having fogging nuclei in the silver halide particles to an unfogged internal latent image type silver halide emulsion layer or other layer. CONSTITUTION:A photographic sensitive material is manufactured by adding an internal latent image type silver halide emulsion having fogging nuclei in the silver halide particles to an unfogged internal latent image type silver halide emulsion layer or other layer combined with a layer contg. a diffusible dye releasing type coupler or a dye releasing redox compound as a dye image forming substance in the same layer or separate layers. This sensitive material undergoes no reduction in the sensitivity and gives a positive type color image with low minimum density. In addition, a superior image is obtd. while saving the amount of silver as compared to a conventional material.
