PURPOSE:To eliminate the dead angle for a car when it turns to the left, in the case of left side traffic, and thereby ensuring traffic safety by providing a means to have a sure view of any object on the left and of the car (or right hand in otherwise case) such as an image pickup tube etc. CONSTITUTION:When the steering wheel 5 is operated to turn the car to the left, in the case of left side traffic, a sensor and driver circuit 4 will sense the amount of rotation, and this amount's exceeding a certain specified value shall activate a display 6 and an image pickup tube 2. Then the display 6 gives the image of object on the left hand of the car 1, and the driver can thereby know if any person or motorcycle is in his otherwise deadangle. At the same time, a gun oscillator 7 and an audio synthesizer 8 are activated, and this gun oscillator 7 oscillates out a high- frequency signal. In case there is any object in said deadangle the output voltage of detector, which depends upon the reflected waves by the object, should be larger than that in case there is no object there, and this output with discriminatory value is sent to the audio synthesizer 8. Under receiving this signal, the synthesizer 8 will give an audible warning to the driver, who can thus know even through the hearing sense that there is something close beside the car on the left hand. |
