Automatic cutting and sewing machine for fleeces, suitable for cutting fleeces obliquely and in the manner of paper strips and for sewing together the cutting points of these fleece strips so that they are displaced slightly obliquely, characterised essentially by an adsorption holder (1) arranged on a bed (8) and having an adsorption surface on one side, a rotary adsorption holder (2) arranged at a predeterminable distance above the adsorption holder (1), specifically rotatably and axially displaceably, a movable adsorption holder (3) which so moves relative to the adsorption surface of the adsorption holder (1) that it clamps fleeces between them, a clamping drive (4) which moves a movable drive switch, a lifting drive (5) which raises and lowers said movable adsorption holder (3) and clamping drive (4), a cutting machine (6) which pushes the cutter along the gap between the adsorption holder (1) and rotary adsorption holder (2) and thereby cuts fleeces, and an automatic sewing machine (6) which moves along the fleece ends located above the adsorption holder (1) and which sews these together. <IMAGE>
