<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an operation cost and to improve an operation performance in a treating equipment by a charcoal adsorption for waste gas of PWP electric power plant, by providing a dry gas mixing tank at the flow-in part of an adsorbing tower in order to simplify a dehumidifying system. CONSTITUTION:Radioactive waste gas consisting mainly of hydrogen which is generated from a volume regulating tank, is compressed by a compressor 10 and then separated from almost all the hydrogen contained therein by a hydrogen separating apparatus 11. The remaining condensed waste gas, after seperating the hydrogen, is sent to a pressure regulating apparatus 12 to be stored by a prescribed quantity in a volume adjustable tank, provided within the apparatus 12, prior to the gas exhausting. The condensed waste gas flows into a mixing tank 13, previously filled with dried gas, to be diluted and dried. When an exhausting of the waste gas from the pressure regulating apparatus 12 is completed; the opening and closing condition of switching valves 14, 15 are made conversely to the condition as shown in the fig. to restrict a flow quantity of the waste gas by an orifice 19; and then the waste gas is gradually sent to a charcoal packed tower 16 in order to adsorb and to attenuate contained radioactive rare gas.</p> |
