PURPOSE:To regulate automatically circulating quantity of a bearing cooling water system to the minimum limit and to contrive energy-saving at the system to cool cooling water for stator using plant bearing cooling water by a method wherein a temperature regulating valve of stator cooling wate is provided on the bearing cooling water side. CONSTITUTION:At the system to cool a stator 1 of generator with cooling water (pure water) 3, and moreover to cool the cooling water 3 thereof with the plant bearing cooling water 6 in a stator cooler 7, the two way type temperature regulating valve 4 is provided in the bearing cooling water system 8. The temperature regulating valve 4 is regulated automatically by a control signal 9 sent from a temperature regulating meter 5 for stator cooling water. Accordingly circulating quantity of the bearing cooling water system can be regulated to the necessary minimum limit even in summer or in winter, and waste of power for pump can be avoided. |
