PURPOSE:To simplify and make small a facsimile transmitter/receiver, by sequentially conducting switching elements, selecting, recording and opening thermo-resistive elements, and selecting and reading photoconductive elements. CONSTITUTION:Thermo-resistive elements R1-R64 arranged in a row are formed with Ta-N and the like, photoconductive elements S1-S64 consist of CdS and the like and are arranged in a row similarly, and the elements R1-R64 are respectively connected in series with the elements S1-S64. The collector of switching transistors TRs T1-T64 is connected to each connecting point, the emitter is grounded and the base is connected to drive pulse generating circuits 25-1, 25-2. In recording, when a switch SW1 is selected to a contact 21 side, a closed circuit including the element R1 is formed when the objective of the TR T1 is black, and recording is made with the heating of the element R1. On the other hand, in reading, when the switch SW1 is selected to a contact 22 side, the TR T1 only is turned off, other TRs are turned off, and a current proportional to the resistance of the element S1 can be read in from a resistor 27. |
