The invention relates to a process for the cost-effective production of elements for ready-to-erect country houses of variable surface area using wood as the material. The invention is characterised by measures which are taken in the process in order to manufacture the walls and the roof and floor elements, to be precise such that the side surfaces of the smaller design in each case form the front and rear walls of the larger design and in that models are used in manufacture to simplify manufacture, and in that the bottom panelling board is fastened, the following panelling boards are then pushed one into the other and pressed together horizontally by means of a clamping device, which is followed by the top panelling board being fastened and further, alternative measures being carried out, with the result that the erection can be effected on site without additional sawing operations.
