<p>A clamping device for connecting tube or pipe ends to each other, of the type comprising two clamping halfshells hinged to each other and normally locked in an engaged position by a locking lever, whereby inwardly turned flanges of the half-shells engage the respective complementary portions of the pipe ends such as collars or the like. The invention presents an improvement in providing the half-shells of identical structural configuration thus avoiding the need for two different half-shells normally used in prior art.</p> |
