PURPOSE:To reduce energy loss, by controlling the rotational frequency of a motor with the change-over of the connection of field coils and batteries. CONSTITUTION:A sequence control circuit operates based on accelerator operation. First, a thyristor S1 is turned ON to connect batteries 11-14 in parallel with each other, and a switch S5 is closed to connect shunt field coils Fp in parallel with each other. A thyristor S2 is turned ON to set the voltage at 24V. Then, a thyristor S3 or S4 is turned ON to set the voltage at 36V. The switch S5 is opened to connect the shunt field coils Fp in series. After that, the thyristor S3 or S4 is turned ON to connect the batteries 11-14 in series so that the voltage is set at 48V. Then, a switch S6 is opened to run a motor 2 as a series motor. |
