PURPOSE:To obtain desired hard copy even with different systems, by transmitting a system identifying code through the addition from a display device to print information, decoding it with a printer and selecting a code conversion table for system reassembling. CONSTITUTION:Print information from a memory MM added with a system identification code from an identification code signal generating circuit MD in a display device DSR1 is once stored in a memory ME in a control device MC. This memory content is transmitted to a printer PR with the instruction from a central processor. In this case, the identification code is stored in a register RG and the print information is to be a memory MR. Based on the interpretation at a decoder DEC of the identification code signal, one of character signal generating circuits CG1, CG2...CGn is selected from the code conversion table, and a character signal generating output is obtained with the output of the memory MR to drive a print head PRH. |
