The device for positioning reinforcing frameworks in e.g. moulds esp. during the manufacture of reinforced concrete workpieces comprises a pref. parallelepiped beam (11) made up of a series of boxes (12) which are open on one face of the beam. Stabilising cross-members (16) extend from one side of the beam to the other and are perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. Support feet (18) are disposed on one side of the beam (11) and on one side of the cross-members (16) with a greater concentration of the feet positioned on the beam than on the cross-members.
