PURPOSE:To achieve an positive melt cutting and welding of a hot melt-welding material and an accurate treatment of the melt cut layer by making the edge of the material set on the machine frame and the undersurface section of a receiving member able to press against or separate from each other in loading. CONSTITUTION:A single or 2 or 3-plied sheet S is fed at an intermediate position between an edge section 10 and receiving member B. The upper end of a rod 25 is forced down against resilience of a spring 24 to press the sheet S against the edge 10 with the undersurface of the receiving member B. The sheet S is melt cut following a shape of the edge 10 by the pressing force and heat of a hot melt cut by welding member A, and inner one is separated from the sheet S enters a space section 12 as a melt cut layer 27. The cut rim of the sheet S contacting or approaching outside of the edge 10 is melted to ensure the melt cutting and welding. As soon as the pressing force on the receiving section B is released, it is returned upward by the resilience of the spring 24. Thereafter, the same action is repeated. |
