PURPOSE:To display time in digital and analog forms for easy legibility of time, by installing a display device, in which numerical display segments are arranged in a ring shape, to an electronic apparatus having a clock function. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 4 is installed at the internal circular part of a display device 1, and data or calculation results entered from the keyboard 4 are displayed in an arc shape on the display device 1. When, say, 7hr 21min 10sec is to be displayed, ''7'' is displayed on the 7th digit of the display device 1, and ''1'' is displayed by flickering on the 4th digit so that the positions of the displayed digits will indicate ''20min'' which corresponds to the longer-hand position of a 2-hand type clock, and furhter, ''21min'' is displayed by ''1'' in the displayed contents. Further, ''0'' is displayed on the 12th digit and 1st to 2nd digits for displaying ''10sec,'' and ''0'' on the display digit is incremented clockwise every 5sec. Through the above-mentioned arrangement, time can be displayed in both digital and analog forms, thereby obtaining easily-understandable time display. |
