PURPOSE:To perform assembling and adjusting operation easily and simply, by a method wherein a pressure sensor is provided in an internal-combustion engine, and the waveform of the signal is processed to allow the upper dead point position to be discriminated, thereby a reference angle of a crank signal sensor is corrected. CONSTITUTION:In the internal-combustion engine a reference position of an crank angle detected by a crank angle sensor is compared with the upper dead point position of a piston discriminated by an output treatment of a pressure sensor installed in a combustion chamber, allowing required correction to be done. For example, a pressure sensor 24 is fixed as a washer of an injection valve 23 in a diesel engine 21. Then, a position counter 28 is actuated by a reference signal given from the crank angle sensor 25 via a wavefrom shaper 26, and stopped by a signal at the upper dead point position by said pressure sensor, thereby a phase angle between both signals is detected, further via an MPU30, a signal in response to said angle is taken out, this is read on an indicator or used for an actuation of a correcting mechanism. |
