PURPOSE:To generate a frame signal coincident with a contracted picture, by extracting a picture element out of a coded video signal and storing densely, then read successively to obtain a contracted picture and at the same time clearing other two memories for writing, and reading. CONSTITUTION:For instance, a coded TV signal (a) is written densely into a main memory 3 with a picture element extracted with every two units by a signal processing circuit 2 controlled by an intermittent pulse generator 11, and then read successively to produce a picture signal contracted down to 1/2 at a terminal B. On the other hand, the information ''0'' is once written by means of submemories 5 and 6 which are controlled by a control circuit 8, etc. After this, the information ''1'' is written in place of the picture signal and with the same address as the memory 3 and then read out to produce a frame signal coincident with the position of a contracted picture at a terminal C. In such way, a frame signal coincident with a contracted picture is produced then a digital special effect generator able to be synthesized with other video signals in a simple way is obtained. |
