A solid-liquid separator for filtering industrial waste slurry with high viscosity & small amounts of contained water comprises a filter chamber(35) containing stretched filter cloths(30) & flexible pressing members(25), a supplying means (8) for waste slurry, and a compressing means(9) for the supplied waste slurry. The filter chamber is formed by a filter frame (18) and a detachable bottom plate (11). The pressing member(25) is operated by the compressing means(9).
