<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an installation cost per solar heat receiving unit area, by a method wherein air, heated in gap formed between each of the troughs of corrugate plates in a roofing material, is fed to a hot water tank to heat water. CONSTITUTION:Gaps 5 between each of the troughs of corrugation are formed on an upper surface of a roofing 2 by the use of heat receiving plates 3 and a thermal insulating material 4 positioned below the heat receiving plates 3, and the upper end of the gap 5 is connected and is open to a ridge duct 6, and one end of the duct 6 is connected to a hot air pipe 7. The heat receiving plates 3 are overlapped at overlapping plates 3' and 3'', and this permits the enlargement of a heat receiving area. The hot air pipe 7, extending downward, is connected to an outer cylinder 10 of a radiating cylinder inserted into a hot water tank 8, and hot air is exhausted through an exhaust port 13 at an upper end of an inner cylinder 11 after it descends at the inside of a radiating chamber 12 and is circulated while ascending by a convection 12' in the inner cylinder 11.
