Transportable directed hoist for stage use - moves grid-irons in directions other than vertical and has rope winch, reduction drive and electric drive with monitoring devices

The transportable directed hoist is for a stage gridiron with a base frame. It has a rope winch consisting of a rope drum, gearing and drive motor and with rollers to guide the rope from the drum to the rope run out opening. The hoist is also fitted with monitoring devices for the rope track, the rope speed and for any rope slack. The base frame (1) and the self braking reduction drive (3) located on the side of the rope drum (4) on the base frame (1) are made from aluminium. The rope drum (4) has an overhung connection with the driven shaft of the reduction drive (3) and the drive motor (9) is made as a direct drive motor with permanent exciter current connected in a vertical position on the reduction gear to its vertical input shaft.
