Heat-exchanger body inserted in ground - contains pipe for heat transfer medium between heat and tip

The heat-exchanger body is inserted in the ground, and consists esp. of a column, wall etc. of concrete. The body (1) contains one or more pipes (5), leading from the head (7) to near the tip (8) and then back again. The pipe ends protruding from the head act as inlet (6) and outlet (9) for a heat-transfer medium. Inside the body the pipe can be partly enclosed by an insulating jacket (10), and it can be secured to the cage (2) of concrete-reinforcing material, and can run in a coil.
