PURPOSE:To enable to readily manufacture a commutator segment integrally having a riser by drawing a strip blank having a part corresponding to the riser at the center and parts corresponding to commutator segments at both side ends and punching the blank. CONSTITUTION:A strip blank 4 having a connector 41 responsive to the height and the thickness of a riser 2 at the center and sides 42 equal to the commutator segments 1 at both sides of the connector is formed by drawing. Then, respective commutator segments formed integrally with a commutator segment body 1 and the riser 2 is punched by the blank 4. In this manner, it can eliminate the working time for mounting the riser, can enhance the strength of the rise and can select the shape of the segment as desired. |
