The transformer has an iron core consisting of parallel to each other two outer limbs, a middle limb between them and yokes on top of them. It has further two adjacent windings on the middle limb, of which one is at least one primary winding and the other of at least one secondary winding. Only the two outer limbs (3) are connected out at least on one side of the iron core (1) by a permeable link (8) matching the form of the coils (6, 7) covering them on at least a part of their length.
